"You like it?" He asks quietly, his breathing turning shallow when Mindy looks at him. This was supposed to put a smile on her face, not upset her. Maybe he's just unknowingly made a dick move and forced her to think about everything she's been missing for the past year. Making her sad isn't part of the plan.
