It probably doesn't look too far off a horror movie (to Mindy, at least) when the cab eventually draws to a stop at the mouth of an alleyway. Every establishment in the vicinity looks like a dive and when Danny pays the driver and pulls open the door for Mindy, he chucks a thumb over his shoulder in encouragement.

"You said you trust me, so c'mon, hop out." It's almost like he's plucked Mindy from the middle of Manhattan and dropped her in Mariners Harbor in Staten. When that thought crosses Danny's mind, he holds a hand out for her to take, as if that's any consolation.
