"How am I supposed to answer if I can't look at you?" Danny asks incredulously, rolling his eyes a little at the driver as if to say women, huh? Mindy had asked whether she's dressed appropriately, not whether she's dressed well. Had she asked the latter, Danny thinks she would have been happier with his response.
"Keep going, please, sir," he requests, even as he's physically folding Mindy's hands back into her lap. "Your coat will survive," he adds, removing his grip tentatively, arms still up in case she feels the need to vent any more frustration at him.
