The public abuse pulls a laugh from Danny, which is probably the last thing Mindy wants to hear, but everything feels so familiar in that moment that he doesn't make an effort to hide it. Placating her with her bag, he mutters the destination to the driver before climbing into the cab, mirth still evident in his voice.
